I'm not really sure why I'm posting this, but here's a product review/how-to video about the Homax popcorn ceiling repair goop that you can buy by the bucket at Lowe's. C'mon people just scrape it off.

Yes, I hate popcorn ceilings but I am also lazy. Our ceiling is 25 years old and has a stain from a leaking roof. The roof is fixed and no popcorn is loose. Couldn't I just spray paint the stained area? It is 6 X 12 inches. Does spray paint come in the off white color. If not, someone should invent it.
